Lance and I took our bikes into the shop for a tune-up this past week (YES..warm weather is here and the trees are starting to get leaves!) and while we waited, we explored the kiddie area. We asked what the earliest age to start a kid on a bike was and the answer was about 3. But..we were also told that they've seen some spirited, tall 1 year-olds hop on the scooter type bikes. Well, it was just Keats' luck that they had a second-hand bike just his size. We couldn't resist, especially after seeing his face light up just from holding the handle bars. (LC's dear friend, Thad, recently told us that he thinks the best way to teach a kid to ride a bike is to take off the pedals-so they learn to scoot and balance first-no need for training wheels. This bike works with that idea and doesn't have any pedals or a greasy chain.)

18 Months!
When I realized that Keats is 18 months old today I thought two thoughts. 1. Whoa, really..I can't believe he's already a year and a half! What happened to my baby? 2. Are you kidding me, he's only 18 months?! Please remind me what life was like when I only had me, myself, and I to be concerned with-I don't remember! :)

Crazy Cousin's
Keats and Josh playing chase around the house after bath time. Keats is SOOOO excited to have a 'friend'; he cries when he thinks Josh might be leaving without him. :) Fun times in Bloomington while Papa works on his revisions. Love you Papa!!
