Keats rode his bike in a marathon and was chased by a wolf. While there should be a really good story to go with that title.. I'm sad to say, it is just the shortest, quickest way to update our blog with a few pictures from the past month. Transitions abound for the Overman-Smith's (when haven't they?).. so, updating the blog (or more truthfully, taking pictures) has taken a back seat- but I'm trying!!
Keats was chosen for the role of the "Big Bad Wolf" in his school play. He was quite nervous with the LARGE crowd.. but he was quite the trooper and, it doesn't get any cuter than a dozen, 3-5 year olds acting out the 3 little pigs!! Supposedly there is a video at the school that I will have to get ahold of to post later. Here he is below, taking his nose off, and reflecting on the intensity of the performance!
We also lucked out with a great find at the spring bike swap... Keats and Lance now ride bikes to school/work whenever the weather permits. I'm a bit sad that he no longer wants his baby seat. How did he get so big?!!
Finally, we cheered this years city marathon runners on while they passed our house. We enjoyed donuts & coffee while sitting in style. Nothing makes me feel quite so lazy as sitting on my rear eating a cream puff and watching people run their hearts out.
