Shelburne Farms June 19, 2010
There is no better way to spend our day than packing up a picnic lunch and taking our little guy rambling around the trails, fields and beaches of Shelburne Farms. We are in love with this non-profit environmental education center and historic landmark.

Once we've pet the animals and worked up a sweat hiking, the payoff is a dip in the Lake. :)

Shelburne Museum
We have found a new playground 6 miles from our house, "Shelburne Museum." We now get unlimited Carousal rides, jaunts through steamboats, trains, horse carriages and numerous other delights. It's already a wonderful summer!
Burlington City Marathon
We awoke on the last Sunday in May (Memorial Day Weekend)to learn that the route for Burlington Marathon (with 8,200 runners) goes right down our street. FUN!!
A medic and water station were right outside our door so we were lucky to get some 'extra' entertainment :).
