Lance defended his dissertation in Syracuse on Friday, May 29 in the Tolley building. Keats got to play with his new 'friend' at the hotel while Mama sat through the grueling 2 hours of nervousness, excitement, fear and finally relief and joy.

Finally Dr. Smith gets to have some fun. Keats really enjoyed the playground at Thornden Park. He did awesome on this trip, we actually enjoyed our time with him in the car (can you believe it?!!!). He slept great (11 hours) in the hotel and giggled with glee as he rode the speedy elevator and the luggage cart.
